Emergency self-rescue float

The flotation device you'll actually be wearing

A lifejacket only works if it's on you. This one is the size of a watch and inflates in a second.

Why we exist

Somebody had to measure it

These bands are sold everywhere, by dozens of stores, all using the same supplier photos and the same spec sheet. That sheet says the device holds 120kg.

It doesn't. That's the heaviest person it fits — not what it lifts. Nobody selling them seemed willing to say so.

So we tested one properly and put the real numbers on the page, including the ones that don't flatter it. That's the whole company.

What we sell

One product, for now

We'd rather do one thing properly than list forty things we've never opened.

What it isn't

Easier to say up front than to argue about later.

  • ×Not a lifejacket, and not a replacement for one
  • ×Not certified
  • ×Not for children, and no substitute for watching them
  • ×Not for non-swimmers
  • ×Won't help someone already unconscious — it's manual
